Cramlington-based Mandata Ltd has appointed an internal
sales manager for its cloud transport management system
TMS Go!, which is aimed at owner/driver and smaller road
haulage operators.
IanThompson joins the road transport software specialist inanewly
created national role, which will see him take on responsibility for
managing the internal sales process for the TMS Go! SaaS product
and associated integrated technologies.
He brings more than five years’ senior sales and marketing
experience to a role which will also see him involved in a range of
initiatives geared to meeting the growth in demand for the product
which launched last year.
He said: “This is an exciting, challenging new role. In particular, I’m
looking forward to the opportunity to work closely with customers
and new prospects, improving the whole Mandata experience
through our benefits-led sales strategy.”
Mandata has also appointed a new implementation consultant to
meet the increasing demand for its systems. Paul Stevens brings
a wealth of knowledge in road transport planning and operations
management into this busy growing team.
Jack Hall, who comes in as transport industry executive with a
customer service and business development background, will be
responsible for developing new business with its highly innovative
cloud solution TMS Go! aimed at the smaller haulier.
Mandata, whichemploys 70people across theUK, is looking togrow
turnover to more than £9m in the next 12 months as it expands its
national customer base.

Mandata’s TMS Go! customers include national road haulage
operators R&G Logistics, Millett-Kirkham, PlastoSac UK Ltd,
Skelchers Express, Barnack Storage and Logistics and refrigerated
transport specialist Chilled out Couriers.
The company’s transportmanagement systems, where information
is centralised on one common platform, allow collaboration
between departments and end-customers, and streamlining the
order, planning and invoicing process; enabling hauliers to grow
without the reliance on manual paper-based processes.

German, Austrian and Polish antitrust authorities have given
the green light for the joint venture Charge4Europe, founded
on December 11, 2018 by DKV Euro Service and Innogy, a
leading German energy company. Charge4Europe will offer all-
in solutions to operators of electric commercial vehicle fleets
throughout Europe, with plans to offer public charging services
throughout Europe. Christopher Schäckermann (36) and Diego
Ramirez-Gölz (31) were appointed to the management of the
new Charge4Europe joint venture.
The future joint venture offers benefits for retail customers and
corporate customers alike, and fleet operators with electric
vehicle or hybrid vehicle fleets in particular. Employees will be
able to recharge their vehicles regardless of the service provider,
with costs billed as a single invoice. Toll payments can also be
billed conveniently using this system. The services provided
by each company are mutually complementary. With around
7,000 networked charging stations, Innogy is one of the leading
operators of charging infrastructure in Europe. DKV Euro Service
boasts decades of experience as a mobility service provider. The
companymanages billing services for 170,000 customers, covering
refuelling, road tolls and EV charging.
