TCS&D 2017
The UK’s increasing appetite for
innovation in the food and drink
sector will make this September’s
TCS&D Exhibition the biggest yet,
as it is hosted for the first time in
the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. The
Exhibition, which takes place on
September 13th and 14th, has
moved from its original base in
Peterborough to the much bigger
venue in Coventry. With extra space
and strong transport links, it is
expected that more exhibitors and
visitors than ever before will be
attending.
Supported by the Food Storage and
Distribution Federation (FSDF) and
the British Frozen Food Federation (BFFF), it is the only UK trade
show dedicated to the storage and distribution of temperature-
controlled products. In addition to transporting fresh produce from
“farm to fork”, reefer fleets also notably move pharmaceuticals and
healthcare products.
Rob Fisher, TCS&D Event Director, emphasises: “Latest figures show
both the frozen food market and the global cold chain market
for pharmaceuticals are growing, so it was important for us to
reflect the increased level of business and interest by moving the
Exhibition to a bigger arena in Coventry.
“This year’s Showpromises to provide a strong platformfor industry
professionals to understand the current business environment,
witness the latest innovations which offer true sustainability,
network with suppliers and peers, and listen to industry leaders
explaining their approach to the future.”
TCS&D2017 is supportedby a comprehensive Seminar programme,
plus the annual TCS&D Awards Dinner, a strong networking
opportunity with more than 300 guests confirmed.
Held on Wednesday 13th September in the E.ON Lounge, Ricoh
Arena, the TCS&D Awards recognise companies and individuals
who have made a real difference and impact in the temperature-
controlled storage and distribution industry. Check out the Awards
categories at
www.tcsandd.com/tcsd-awards-dinner and there
you can also reserve your ticket for the flagship Awards Dinner at
£175 plus VAT.
News on exhibitors
Iveco will be exhibiting a range of cold chain vans and trucks – the
first time the business has showcased its products at the TCS&D
Exhibition.
Lisa Fuller, Brand Marketing & Communications Manager at Iveco,
remarks: “This year we will be exhibiting at TCS&D for the first
time as part of a drive to focus our exhibition attendance on more
targeted events. Food-related sectors are already a significant
market for Iveco, and ones where we see even greater potential
– particularly with key products like our 7.2t Daily and growing
Natural Power range.”
