L&S Waste Management Limited has taken delivery of six

new Scania P 410 8x4 tippers as part of its fleet replacement

programme. The 18-plate vehicles feature Scania’s 410

horsepower Euro 6 engines and have been fully loaded with

safety features including a four-way camera system, left

audible warning device and dirt repelling lighting.

Managing Director of L&SWaste Management Limited, Mick Balch,

says: “It is important for us to be running the most environmentally

and economically efficient vehicles possible, which is why we chose

Scania.”

The new vehicles are on five-year full repair andmaintenance plans

and are looked after by Scania Fareham, the same Scania South

West branch fromwhere the vehicles were purchased.

Mick continues: “As well as having a good product, the level of

service we get is exceptional. Importantly for us, our vehicles need

to be robust and reliable, and on the rare occasion they need repairs,

then the teamat Scaniawork hard to get themback out on the road.

Being able to rely on good suppliers is incredibly important to our

business. Working with Scania gives us the peace of mind that our

vehicles will be fit for purpose, and means we don’t have to worry

about this side of the operations.”

Six new Scania P 410s for L&SWaste Management Limited

In order to provide one of the most extensive networks in the

United Kingdom, DKV Euro Service has partnerships with both UK

Fuels and Keyfuels. Customers of DKV can opt for cards from either

one or both service networks in addition to the other services and

products from DKV. There are no card charges and all costs, from

domestic fuelling to international toll settlements, are itemised on

one monthly DKV invoice.
