The C2K is permanently mounted to the vehicle and when closed generates a 4-digit seal number in 8mm LED illuminated numbers, so clear to read and record in all light conditions.

As with plastic seals the seal number is recorded on the manifest and on arrival is checked by security to ensure the seal number hasn’t changed, indicating an unauthorised door opening. This can then be repeated over and over, making C2K the perfect multidrop security seal. 

C2K is powered by embedded solid-state electronics and a lithium ion battery that provides up to 35,000 sealings. Extrapolated this gives a seal cost at maximum use of £0.006 pence per seal or as seals are normally sold in thousands £6 per box and that’s without considering the time your colleagues spend in managing plastic seals.
