comprehensive advice and assistance to potential customers.

Systems for FORS, CLOCS and Crossrail

Vision UK offers an array of products that have achieved

accreditation from the Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS)

and Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS).

The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary

accreditation scheme that promotes best practice for commercial

vehicle operators. With over 4,900 members, FORS is gaining

recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation

scheme. FORS encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency, and

environmental protection by encouraging and training fleet

operators to measure, monitor and improve performance. FORS

provides accreditation pathways for operators of any type, and for

those organisations that award contracts and specify transport

requirements.

FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold membership provides progressive

accreditation enabling operators to achieve exemplary levels of

best practice.

The CLOCS scheme provides the Construction Logistics Industry

with the best practice for managing work related road risk (WRRR)

and ensuring a road safety culture is embedded across the industry.

This scheme helps to protect pedestrians, cyclists, motorcycles and

other vulnerable road users who share the roads with construction

vehicles.

The FORS silver requirements are now aligned to the requirements

of the Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS)

Standard and TfL’s Work Related Road Risk (WRRR) requirements.

To help Fleet Operators meet the safety requirements of the FORS

and CLOCS Scheme, Vision UK offers three systems packages

designed to meet the specific requirements of the different levels

of the scheme.

This newgenerationHDQuality DVR System is specifically designed

for operators delivering to construction sites and requiring FORS

and CLOCS scheme compliance.

This system features a DVR-720 AHD DVR that records up to

720P video quality and is supplied with a 128 GByte SSD drive for

maximum reliability in high shock and vibration environments.

video before overwriting the oldest footage. Vision’s unique Close

Proximity warning system is integrated into the system to provide

the driver with a visual and audible warning of objects in their

nearside blind spot.

A useful feature for some customers is that the DVR-720 can be

used to disable the external talking Vehicle Turning Left Alarm, and

also Monitor, above a pre-determined speed using GPS speed.
