Stobart wins 2022 Global Award as “Most Sustainable Carrier – Multimodal”
Stobart has won the Transporeon Award - Most Sustainable Carrier - Multimodal Award for 2022. This Transporeon Carrier of the Year Award 2022 recognises the company which offers outstanding customer commitment, the highest transparency and lowest Carbon footprint in the performance of their transport.

Transporeon power the largest global freight network of 1,300 industrial shippers, 100 large retailers and more than 145,000 carriers and logistic service providers. They execute 120,000 transports per day on its cloud-based platform and tender around €20bn in freight volume per year across land, sea and air.
“Over a number of years, we have been working with our customers to integrate Transporeon systems into their business. Customers such as Coca Cola, Knauf, Tesco and Essity”, said Peter Daglish, Stobart IT Applications Manager.
“The integration includes sending orders from the customer to Transporeon and then to Stobart, Transporeon being the custodian for the management of Haulier information i.e. one point of contact if the customer operates multiple hauliers.”
The scope of the integration undertaken involves high quality synchronizations of a series of processes including orders to Stobart, slot Booking, collection times, GPS information back to understand position and arrival / departure times, and POD Documents.

Over 130,000 carriers worldwide were in consideration for this major Global Award, so it is no mean achievement for Stobart to have been recognised with this highly significant accolade.
