LDVS (London Direct Vision Standard), FORS and CLOCS Scheme Compliance

To further assist customers in the selection of products to meet specific criteria, Vision UK has also devised a number of Package Options. One of the most popular options meets the requirements of LDVS (London Direct Vision Standard), FORS and CLOCS Scheme Compliance. Within the package is a selection of product options that includes DVR systems, Live View/Remote Access Upgrades, Front Camera options, Side Camera Options, Rear Cameras and Monitors.

This package includes all the products necessary to ensure that your DVR system will be compliant with the Safety Equipment requirements of the LDVS (London Direct Vision Standard), FORS and CLOCS schemes. 

A unique aspect of the Vision Close Proximity Detection System is that it is integrated with the nearside camera and driver monitor. Also, it displays a warning message and plays an audible warning through the monitor. This greatly simplifies installation and enhances safety as the driver only needs to look at one place for information when manoeuvring.

There are currently three main UK compliance schemes: the LDVS (London Direct Vision Standard/ Safety Permit Scheme), FORS and CLOCS schemes.

The LDVS scheme applies exclusively to vehicles operating in Greater London, FORS is a national scheme for all freight hauliers and CLOCS is specific to construction logistic hauliers.

This is a type approved 720P resolution camera designed for the toughest environments, yet still providing the perfect solution for many different vehicles types.

For over a decade, Vision UK has been supplying camera chips sets in the DN-2 housing. This housing has evolved over time and has consistently proven to be the most durable camera housing that we have supplied.

This camera features 4 x light sensor activated CREE LEDs that provide this camera with excellent night vision performance.

Other useful features include a built-in microphone, normal/ mirror image selection screw and an electrically isolated stainless steel mounting bracket.

For driver information purposes, a 720P chip set provides better clarity than a traditional analogue camera and the resolution is ideally matched to the Vision 7” Monitors. For recording applications, the 720P Chip Set often provides the best compromise between image quality and file size.

This 600TVL camera with integrated work light is type approved as a camera, revering light and high level brake light

It has been specifically designed for tail lift vehicles providing a home delivery or high street delivery service, and for any vehicle where the operator needs good illumination to work safely around the vehicle at night.
