Trucks make a welcome return to the 2023 Commercial Vehicle Show!

Trucks make a welcome return to the 2023 Commercial Vehicle Show!

Preparations well underway for the UK’s largest and best-attended road transport event

From 18th to 20th April at the NEC Birmingham sees the return of the 2023 Commercial Vehicle Show and the atmosphere is building for another great event. As the industry’s largest and most established trade show with new vehicles, emerging technologies, and the opportunity to connect with key decision makers and other individuals who are as passionate about the sector as Truck and Track readers, the Commercial Vehicle Show offers visitors a complete package of the commercial vehicle industry.

The annual business event is the perfect platform to see new product launches, re-engage with existing contacts and connect with key decision makers and 2023 will be no different, demonstrating the longevity and uniqueness of the event as the largest and best attended commercial vehicle event in the UK.

The UK’s leading brands have long recognised the importance of demonstrating their latest products and services to key decision makers from thousands of UK businesses at the Show. Exhibiting within the Show’s new dedicated Truck Zone are IVECO, Renault Trucks and Hydrogen Vehicle Systems who will all be offering visitors the chance to see their latest offerings and get up close to their vehicles.

The truck manufacturers will have representatives on hand to talk about their net zero ambitions, with new and future vehicles that shift away from diesel. Battery-powered electric trucks, hydrogen fuel cell trucks and HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil) trucks are all set to play a role in the road transport industry’s shift away from fossil fuels.

With last year’s Show witnessing thousands of visitors streaming through the doors and hailed as a success for providing both exhibitors and visitors alike with a high number of quality engagements, the 2023 event is already showing signs of building on a terrific 2022 Show. Visitors can expect to see both new and returning exhibitors this year from every corner of the road transport sector with more than 200 companies having already signed up for the 2023 Show.

Top LCV manufacturers Ford, Isuzu, Nissan and Harris Maxus will be there alongside some of the leading HGV brands. Returning exhibitors, including Motormax, Parksafe Group, Sortimo, Chevin Fleet Solutions, Fischer Panda, Fonix Telematics, Merridale, and many others will be at the Show. We shall also be welcoming a host of new exhibitors over the course of the three days including Netradyne Technology, Enel X Way UK, Uniquip Group, Tuffa UK, SWARCO Smart Charging and FAPI Motors amongst others. Several exhibitors will also be showcasing their new products and services through launch events including Motormax, IVECO, Fischer Panda, Brigade Electronics, Isuzu, Hydrogen Vehicle Solutions, Harris Maxus, Parksafe, TVL Security and ProtecAVan.

Two live Theatres – the Workshop Theatre and the Road Ahead Theatre – will offer a comprehensive program with presentations across a range of essential topics relevant to the cost-effective running of commercial vehicle fleets over the three days of the Show.

These discussions will address some of the most important topics facing the industry whilst answering questions from attendees and are crucial for anyone wanting to keep abreast of the latest developments in commercial vehicles, garage equipment and aftermarket, refrigerated transport solutions and cost-effective technologies.

Tim Mustin, Sales & Marketing Manager for the Show comments, “With all the latest vehicles, trailers, equipment and technology on display, the 2023 Show will be unmissable for thousands of fleet owners, directors, senior managers and engineers and to anyone running commercial vehicles as part of their business. There is no better place than the Commercial Vehicle Show for suppliers to showcase their latest vehicles, products and innovations and no better place for operators to catch up with every new development in their industry.”
