Road Transport Expo is roaring into NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire this month with its unmissable blend of business tradeshow, conferencing and relaxed, networking atmosphere... Make sure to mark the dates in your diary!
This month, Road Transport Expo 2025 (RTX) is set to welcome thousands of industry visitors to the NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire.
Taking place from 24-26 June, the must-attend tradeshow attracts HGV operators of all shapes and sizes, from
owner-operators through to representatives from all of the top 10 largest HGV fleets in the UK.
With an ‘All about the truck’ core focus, RTX is a must-attend show for anyone working in the road transport sector. Whether you run a family-owned haulage business, manage the fleet of a major 3PL, head up a busy workshop, or are in charge of safety and training, the event will have something to offer you.
It promises to be a one-stop venue for all your HGV fleet needs, from new vehicles through to training providers, legal expertise, workshop equipment, safety kit and much more.
More than 300 manufacturers and service providers will be happy to engage with you as you browse the vast indoor halls and outside displays, and there will be opportunities to see live demonstrations of technology taking place throughout the days you visit.
Try it out for size
The popular Ride and Drive will also be running once more, enabling you to get up close and personal with the latest vehicle technology.
You can take a drive yourself, if you hold the appropriate qualifications, or simply travel as a passenger and experience the latest trucks on a specially designed RTX test drive route.
As well as the latest generation of diesel trucks to choose from, you’ll also be able to explore what it’s like behind the wheel of battery-electric HGVs and low-carbon-fuelled vehicles.
In the know
Alongside the exhibition, RTX will be bringing you a varied mix of conference sessions you can drop into as you visit, picking those most relevant to your business.
As well as the traditional Knowledge Zone stage, which will feature a host of leading industry experts and traditional presentations, there will also be a brand-new ‘Talking Point’ stage making its debut this year.
This new stage area will feature a host of lively panel discussions and informal on-stage interviews on key topics that matter to you. It will also be the new home for the popular ‘RTX Big Debate’ series, which gives you the opportunity to hear directly from leading truck OEMs about the future direction of travel for HGV technology.
Check out the In the know box to see some of the exciting topics that will be covered throughout the three days of the show and do make some time to stop off at any that pique your interest.
There will also be a free tea or coffee whilst you watch the conference sessions, so it can be a good way to brush up on your industry knowledge whilst taking a well-earned rest from visiting the bustling exhibition areas.
Make connections
If you’ve never been before, what truly sets RTX apart is its ability to bring together professionals from every corner of the road transport industry.
Whether you’re looking to strengthen relationships with existing clients, explore potential partnerships, or simply exchange ideas with peers, then RTX is where those conversations happen.
Well-known companies attending this year include the likes of Arla Foods, Biffa Waste Services, Booker Group, Culina Group, DHL, DPD, GXO, John Lewis Partnership, M&S, Royal Mail, Tesco, Travis Perkins, Wincanton, Yodel and many more.
These organisations represent a cross-section of the industry from retail and logistics giants to waste management and construction specialists.
Engaging with such a diverse range of businesses provides a unique opportunity to gain fresh perspectives and identify collaborative opportunities that can drive real business growth.
The showground’s informal, yet professional, atmosphere will have plenty of seating areas and catering outlets located around the venue, including the popular Inn on the Green, where you can relax with your peers in the British summertime.
Exhibitors also pull out all the stops when it comes to stand hospitality at RTX, so you can be sure of a warm welcome around the site.
What’s happening?
The VIP experience for all show visitors is an integral focus for the organisers with a number of initiatives in place to make your day more enjoyable.
This includes a handy app to download ahead of the event (or on the day) which will feature all the exhibitor stand locations, as well as timings of upcoming conference sessions you may like to attend. In addition to this, an A5 paper showguide will also include key event information and you can pick one up upon entry with your free visitor bag.
To make sure you can easily navigate the vast grounds, there will be lots of clear signage and a friendly team of showmakers to assist you with directions or other questions you may have during your visit.
We’ll also be handing out the RTX Daily Newspaper to all visitors, which will feature news and information about what’s happening on exhibitor stands and the conference each day, so make sure to grab your free copy on the way in to see what’s trending.
And of course we’d love to hear about your favourite discoveries as you walk around the showground, so make sure that when you tag #RTX2025 on your social media channels, that you also tag the relevant show pages so we can share your content to our audience as well!
