Despite the obvious challenges presented by the Covid-19 pandemic, site developments and expansion was completed on schedule on 11th May to provide a new level of service support to the 90 plus UPNmember network. The new UPN SmartHUB operation, fully supported by an all-encompassing cross network SmartHUB IT system, will now provide all members with significantly upgraded support. “Our new SmartHUB is a massive step forward for all of us at UPN,” said David Brown UPNManaging Director, “So far £3,000,000 has been invested in establishing a facility that meets the exact requirements of our central operation and gives extensive capacity for business growth for all of us over the next decade and beyond.” On Fradley Park Lichfield in the heart of the Midlands UPN SmartHUB is just half a mile from the company’s previous location and as a result has enabled a minimum of transition disruption for both UPN staff and member hauliers.
