Held at the Park Inn, Northampton, the night attracted local businesses who gathered together to see the 35 finalists compete across 12 award categories. With 1 in 7 people in Northamptonshire now working within the logistics sector the awards are an annual celebration of the finest businesses and individuals working within the industry. The emerging talent award acknowledges talented young people working within the industry that use their initiative to deliver results and positively contribute to their employer whilst working collaboratively with others. Being recognised and shortlistedfortheawardwasatestamenttoMegan’sdetermination and success within her role; winning was the icing on the cake. “I’m so proud to have won the award and thankful to have been recognised for the work that I do, by not only TruckEast but also the customers that nominated me,” comments Megan. Having been with TruckEast for just under 4 years, Megan was initially based at the Milton Keynes branch, but most recently at the company’s largest branch – Wellingborough, where she quickly became an integral part of the service team. At just 22 years of age, Megan is already making an impression, delivering the very best service to customers, collaborating with management to embed changes and showing enthusiasm and drive in all that she does.
