David Brown, UPN’s Managing Director, spoke with pride about the network’s growth and its commitment to sustainability. “This year, we’ve exceeded 100 members for the first time, demonstrating that our unique approach to the pallet network sector is gaining recognition,” said David, “Our collaboration with Carbon Neutral Britain has made a lasting impact, and we’re committed to continuing our efforts to offset carbon emissions.” UPN’s exceptional service standards were reflected in the expansion of its Gold and Platinum Clubs. These Elite Clubs recognise UPN members who deliver consistent excellence in service and compliance. This year, 71 UPN Members achieved Gold Status, with eight new additions to the club. 58 UPN Members attained Platinum Status, including 12 first-timers. Achieving Platinum status signifies maintaining Gold-level performance for three consecutive years - a feat that reflects a deep UPN Member commitment to quality and reliability. The highlight of the evening was the two-tiered 2024 Awards Presentation, spotlighting exceptional Regional and National Performers. These accolades underscored the talent, teamwork and innovative spirit driving UPN forward. Recipients shared their pride in being part of an organisation that not only recognises hard work but also fosters a sense of community. For many, UPN is more than a professional network; it’s a family bound by shared goals and values. Amid the glitz and glamour, UPN remembered those less fortunate. Fundraising efforts during the event supported three very worthy causes: St Giles Hospice, the Wildlife Trust and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
