One of the most popular products in the company’s range is the bespoke Progressive Safe System for Construction Vehicles. At the heart of this proven technology is the FORS Gold VRUD (Vulnerable Road User Detection) which incorporates a 360° recording system that meets the TfL Progressive Safe-System requirements. This system features an extreme duty 7″ Monitor and HD Cameras to provide the highest levels of durability with best possible image quality. Importantly, this DVR is enabled with 360° Vulnerable Road User Detection capability to meet the “Moving Off Information System” (MOIS) and Blind Spot Detection requirements of the Progressive Safe System. The DVR is supplied with a 1 TByte SSD which will typically provide over 200 hours of video recording. FORS Silver PSS System Upgrade In this featured installation, we have upgraded a legacy non-Vision FORS Silver compliant system to the latest PSS specification. We have utilised the legacy reverse camera, left turn alarm and some of the wiring, plus we have added an offside camera to provide customers with a 4-camera, 360° vision system. On this particular installation, the installer was able to meet the BSIS Technical Requirements just using our SC-720 BSD side cameras and did not need to fit our stand-alone VRUD camera.
