With this addition, companies running any sort of fleet can keep vehicles clean by utilising the GoWash network right across the UK. The GoWash network in the UK now has reached over 900 sites including: ■ 500 hand wash sites - for cars and vans up to 3.5T ■ 250 automatic sites - for cars and vans (up to Transit size) ■ 80 HGV wash sites - for vans and Heavy Goods Vehicles ■ 80 mobile operators - cleaning cars, vans and HGVs at your depot The addition of HGV washing has been something that has been in the pipeline for a while now, Managing Director Jonny Billing explained, ‘In my previous work in the HGV sector I had been used to HGV fleets and LCV fleets being mainly two separate groups, but during the last 5-10 years there has been a major shift in companies adopting a mixed fleet to suit the needs of their contracts and customers. HGV companies doing last mile deliveries have added LCVs to their fleet while traditional LCV fleets have added larger vehicles to their operations. This has left a gap in the market of vehicle washing for someone who can cover all vehicles of all sizes. In my previous company, SNAP, we were solely focused on HGVs washing and smaller vehicles were never considered. While here at GoWash we have created a new market for LCVs that was previously overlooked, we have now taken the steps to knit both together.’ Accessing the network of HGV sites has come through a partnership with TRAVIS, a Dutch company who are leading the way of HGV washing and parking right across Europe. Jonny continues, ‘I have known the team at TRAVIS for nearly a decade now and we have always wanted to find a way to work together, I am pleased that time has now come!
