www.truckandtrack.com Autumn 2025 Truck and Track 15 MULTIMODAL 2025 REVIEW This year, a prominent stand once again gave Truck and Track the opportunity to meet potential new advertisers, catch up with readers, and present the exciting projects of longstanding partners. A big thank you to all the companies who provided panels to help make the Truck and Track stand a hub of insight, discussion, and collaboration. UPN – Driving Sustainability and Smarter Tracking United Pallet Network made a significant impact by sharing the results of its pioneering carbon offsetting initiative. Between April 2024 and March 2025, UPN successfully offset 28,500 tonnes of CO₂, neutralising emissions from over 26 million miles of pallet deliveries across UK roads, positioning UPN as a genuine leader in sustainable logistics. Adding to the buzz, UPN launched its new SmartTRAK freight tracking system, offering precise visibility across every shipment — a solution eagerly received by visitors keen to reduce uncertainty in their supply chains. Allports Group – Dealer Excellence and Flexibility Allports Group brought its expertise as a leading Renault Trucks dealer into the spotlight. Its stand highlighted services across vehicle sales, contract hire, bespoke body building, and fleet support. The company’s FlexiHire solutions stood out for businesses navigating fluctuating demand, while its Bodywork Centre of Excellence demonstrated craftsmanship and innovation in vehicle builds. Allports used Multimodal to reinforce its philosophy of continuous investment — in facilities, people, and innovation — ensuring customers can always keep moving. BoxHaul – Tackling Empty Miles with Digital Solutions Technology-driven logistics took centre stage with BoxHaul, which presented its digital freight-matching platform. Designed to reduce empty running and maximise haulage productivity, the platform enables shippers and hauliers to connect in real time. Visitors saw live demonstrations of the BoxHaul Portal, sparking conversations about efficiency and the platform’s potential contribution to decarbonising haulage. Descartes – Connecting the Supply Chain with Data Global logistics technology leader Descartes Systems Group impressed with its range of integrated visibility and compliance tools. A highlight was MacroPoint, its real-time visibility platform offering shippers and 3PLs complete insight across multimodal shipments. The company also showcased its Routing and Scheduling software, which helps fleets lower costs, improve customer service, and reduce environmental impact.
