www.truckandtrack.com Autumn 2025 Truck and Track 3 FOREWORD by Barbara Ryan, Publishing Director, Truck and Track The 2025 CV Show, Multimodal and RTX Expo the main events in the industry calendar were once again a resounding success with increased visitor numbers reinforcing the importance of these gatherings for key decision makers, manufacturers and providers of services to the industry in one place. For Scottish readers RTX Scotland is scheduled for 19th-20th November at the Glasgow SEC and promises to be on par with these events. Information is easily accessed via the Internet, but this can never achieve the same results as face-toface meetings and viewing the hardware in the relaxed atmosphere of a trade show. The 2026 CV Show promises to be even better with a focus and theme: “Fuelling Change-The Route to Net Zero”. 2026 will be a challenging year for everyone striving to achieve these tough environmental challenges and still achieve profitability. Savings need to be found in all areas of operation such as fuel usage, monitoring and reporting by fuel specialist Merridale will certainly help while the purchasing and safe dispensing of AdBlue from Greenox is another item on the list! The use of recycled parts from TruckEast could also yield significant cost savings. Software technology has been a valuable tool to the logistics industry and can save time and improve efficiency if properly utilised. Providers like PTV Logistics, Descartes, tmWare and HaulTech can tailor a system to match your needs. If Cyber-crime is a worry Fargo and Descartes can provide preventative solutions. Vehicle security and safety systems are also important issues and should be part of the vehicle specification. On board camera systems by Vision UK give the driver reassurance in heavy traffic areas while secure locking and monitoring of cargo doors can be assured by fitting a Unisto security seal. Specialist organisations can have a benefit to grow your business. If you are hauling or shipping containers Boxhaul is a company to align with or if you are focused on delivering palletised freight join UPN. Acquiring assets and financing them can be a challenge but expertise from Allports Group or Alltruck can provide the right equipment for your operation. CBF is the leading supplier of body fittings and ancillary equipment to the bodybuilding industry. For drawbar equipment and rear under run protection VBG is the first choice offering an extensive range of couplings, drawbeams and chassis specific fitting kits. These kits integrate with the VBG rear under run protection devices, and all these components are fully Type Approved and create a complete easy fit package. Keeping your vehicles and trailers in a clean and compliant condition can be achieved with the installation of a Wilcomatic washing system or if you have your own workshop Totalkare can provide a solution for vehicle inspection and maintenance access. As usual, I hope you enjoy reading this latest issue of Truck and Track. Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 4 BUSINESS NEWS The Commercial Vehicle Show (CV Show), the UK’s leading exhibition for the road freight, transport, and logistics sectors, today announces a bold new identity and strategic direction. At the heart of this transformation is a new show theme: “Fuelling Change – The Route to Net Zero.” This marks the beginning of a major evolution for the CV Show. More than a rebrand, it signals a clear commitment to lead the commercial vehicle industry through its most critical period of transition towards decarbonisation, digitalisation, and sustainable growth. The new brand identity reflects the energy, confidence, and momentum driving this change and positions the show as the key destination for innovation, collaboration, and progress. The 2026 edition will deliver a completely reimagined experience. Visitors can expect a revitalised show environment with an overhauled content programme, shaped around the most urgent challenges and opportunities facing the sector today. From electrification and clean energy to connected technologies and operational efficiency, the show will offer deeper insight, richer engagement, and more meaningful connections than ever before. For exhibitors, the rebrand brings expanded value. With over 15,000 targeted industry visitors, and a more robust year-round marketing platform, the CV Show continues to be the UK’s most effective stage for launching products, generating leads, and aligning with the industry’s drive toward net zero. As the only UK event that unites the entire commercial vehicle ecosystem, the CV Show is uniquely placed to shape policy, spark partnerships, and accelerate innovation. Whether you’re in logistics, fleet management, energy, retail, manufacturing, or government, this is where future strategies take shape. To lead the Commercial Vehicle Show through this evolution is Nick Davison, the newly appointed Event Director. “The new brand refresh marks the start of an exciting new era for the CV Show. With ‘Fuelling Change – The Route to Net Zero’ as our direction, we’re not just evolving the event, we’re stepping up to lead the industry through real change. CV Show 2026 is all about bigger impact, smarter solutions, and helping the sector move forward together. I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.” Nick Davison, Event Director. And the transformation doesn’t stop here. A further major announcement will be revealed next week, one that builds on this new direction and reinforces the CV Show’s role at the centre of the industry’s sustainable future. Fuelling Change begins now. All roads lead to the Commercial Vehicle Show. The next edition of the Commercial Vehicle Show takes place at the NEC Birmingham from 21–23 April 2026. To book your stand or register interest, visit www.cvshow.com. The Commercial Vehicle Show unveils full rebrand and strategic shift: Fuelling change - The Route to Net Zero Major ministerial changes can cause short-term uncertainty for our sector, but we also view them as an opportunity to broker new longer-term relationships and reinvigorate our advocacy work. The Prime Minister has shuffled the deck following the Deputy Prime Minister’s resignation, which means familiar faces moving on and new faces moving in. Some of course stay in post – Transport Secretary, Heidi Alexander is one of them – and we look forward to continuing our work with her. But roads minister, Lilian Greenwood moves on to the Whips’ Office. I’d like to thank her for all her support for our industry in the time she’s been in post and wish her well in her new role. We also congratulate Shabana Mahmood who takes up her role as Home Secretary on the eve of Rachel Taylor MP’s Freight Crime Bill second reading on Friday. We urge the Home Office to launch a crime code to help police tackle freight crime. We are also campaigning for more police funding and for stiffer sentencing. Ahead of November’s Budget we are calling for the fuel duty freeze to stay, support to increase low-carbon fuel uptake, and a freeze on Vehicle Excise Duty for HGVs and the HGV Levy. We continue to campaign for more investment in our roads and infrastructure to reduce journey times, support new developments and speed up decarbonisation. We make the clear case that these investments would support our industry to help the Government deliver on its mission to boost economic growth. We look forward to putting these points across to new appointees and reiterate them to ministers and departments we’ve already developed relationships with. We’re proud to consider ourselves a trusted partner to the Government and its departments and will continue to work with them to deliver benefit for all. Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 6 BUSINESS NEWS Merridale Launches Fuel Savings Calculator to Help Fleets Cut Costs Merridale Ltd has launched a new online tool designed to help fleet operators and transport managers quickly see how much money they could save by switching from forecourt fuelling to an on-site Merridale fuel management system. The Fuel Savings Calculator, now live at the top of the Merridale website, is a simple but powerful feature that shows potential annual savings in just a few clicks. To use it, you just enter how much fuel your fleet uses each month and what you’re currently paying per litre. The calculator will then estimate how much you’re likely to save over the course of a year if you move to a Merridale system. For many businesses, the savings can be significant — especially if they choose to store fuel on-site and buy in bulk at lower prices. Merridale has been helping fleets across the UK improve their fuelling operations for years. Their systems are designed to give businesses greater control over fuel use, reduce waste, and stop unauthorised fuelling. Customers using Merridale’s equipment often benefit from lower fuel costs by avoiding retail pump prices and taking advantage of bulk buying. But it’s not just about cheaper fuel. Merridale’s systems also track how much fuel is being used, by which vehicles, and when. This kind of detailed reporting helps fleet managers understand where fuel is going and how to make operations more efficient. It also makes it easier to prevent theft or errors and helps businesses stay compliant with industry standards. The new calculator is based on this proven track record. It gives a quick and easy way to see the kind of savings Merridale customers are already experiencing. Whether you’re managing a small fleet or a national operation, it’s a useful starting point to explore the benefits of switching to a more efficient fuelling setup. So if you’re still relying on forecourts for fuel, now’s the time to find out what you could be saving. Head over to merridale.co.uk, try the Fuel Savings Calculator, and take the first step towards smarter, more cost-effective fleet fuelling. www.merridale.co.uk

www.truckandtrack.com Autumn 2025 Truck and Track 7 BUSINESS NEWS HaulTech helps JHP Transport shift gears with digital transformation Founded in 2007, JHP Transport has grown from a small office in Lanarkshire into one of Scotland’s largest and most respected logistics providers. With a fleet covering the UK and parts of Europe, the company specialises in aggregate and muckaway haulage, temperature-controlled distribution, heavy haulage, and bespoke logistics solutions. Their commitment to customer service, innovation, and operational excellence has earned them long-term partnerships and industry recognition. Despite their success, JHP Transport’s growth meant that they started to face some all-too familiar challenges with manual job tickets, fragmented communication, and time-consuming admin, as they became an ever-increasing bottleneck. “I couldn’t imagine working without a system, working with paper would just be chaos.” said Fiona, a company spokesperson for JHP Transport, in HaulTech’s recent video. That sentiment reflects a growing trend in the haulage industry, where digital transformation is no longer optional, it’s becoming increasingly essential. The decision to implement HaulTech’s Transport Management System marked a turning point. The platform centralises job management, driver communication, and customer updates, allowing JHP Transport to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Drivers now receive job details directly to their mobile devices, eliminating paperwork and reducing the risk of errors. This has led to faster turnaround times and more accurate deliveries. In the office, the impact has been equally significant. Automated invoicing, real-time job tracking, and digital proof of delivery have reduced administrative workload and improved visibility across the business. This level of insight is crucial in an industry where efficiency, responsiveness and reliability are key. The benefits of adopting a TMS extend beyond operational gains. Staff have embraced the system, appreciating the clarity and convenience of digital workflows. Customers benefit from better communication and more reliable service. The shift has helped the business become more agile and better prepared to meet the demands of modern logistics. Across the haulage sector, companies are recognising the value of digital systems. Rising fuel costs, tighter regulations, and increasing customer expectations are driving the need for smarter, more agile operations. A TMS helps businesses reduce waste, improve compliance, and deliver consistent service, all while helping to keep costs down and improve efficiency. HaulTech’s system is designed specifically for hauliers. It’s scalable, user-friendly, and backed by a support team that understands the industry. Whether a company runs five vehicles or one hundred and five, the platform can meet their needs. This has made HaulTech’s TMS a trusted solution for operators looking to future-proof their businesses. For JHP Transport, the move to HaulTech’s TMS has been more than a technical upgrade. It has transformed the way the business operates, strengthened customer relationships, and positioned the company for continued growth. By combining decades of experience with modern tools, JHP Transport is setting a new standard for efficient, customer-focused logistics. As the industry continues to evolve, companies like JHP Transport are leading the way. With a clear vision, a commitment to innovation, and the right technology in place, they are well equipped to meet the challenges of tomorrow. www.haultech.co.uk

Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 8 BUSINESS NEWS TNS 365, the commercial vehicle support services specialist, has been appointed as the exclusive provider of breakdown and maintenance support for Kenneth Howley Transport. Based in West Yorkshire, Kenneth Howley operates a mixed vehicle fleet, offering pallet distribution, general haulage and specialist transport services. As a longstanding member of The Pallet Network (TPN), the company delivers nationwide logistics The appointment follows a successful working relationship that began in April 2024 and has since developed into a long-term arrangement. According to Aiden Eustace, Operations Director at Kenneth Howley Transport, the decision to consolidate maintenance and roadside support with TNS 365 was made following consistent and dependable service delivery. “From the first time we used TNS 365, we have used their services exclusively for any breakdown or maintenance issues that our own team have been unable to attend,” says Eustace. “The information provided is consistent and thorough and the pricing is uniformly reasonable, regardless of the nature of the work. Also, the level service has greatly improved for us, since we gained access to the portal, as it enables us to communicate and track jobs in real time. Plus, the high level of support helps us maintain a reliable fleet, which in turn ensures we meet the service expectations of our own customers.” Aiden also notes the value of the personal approach provided by TNS 365, adding: “Although all correspondence can be handled online, it is always good to speak to TNS 365 directly by phone or during site visits and particularly helps with time-sensitive issues. “Only last week we were attended by one of TNS365’s service providers. The lad who arrived onsite was swift and effective, diagnosing our issue, affecting a temporary repair so the vehicle was safe to return to us and advising me directly on his findings. This allowed us to complete full repair swiftly and without any added expense upon its return to us.” TNS 365 provides a 24/7 nationwide breakdown and recovery service for commercial vehicles, in addition to scheduled maintenance and compliance support, along with roadside assistance, routine inspections, mechanical repairs, compliance checks, and defect management. Kenneth Howley appoints TNS 365 as sole fleet support provider WTTL, a leading provider of professional transport training and driver development, has expanded its fleet with the delivery of an additional six Urban Box trailers from Krone Trailer UK. This latest acquisition brings the total number of Krone trailers in WTTL’s vehicle training fleet to seven and, says WTTL, represents another major milestone in the company’s strategic investment in high-quality, industry-relevant equipment. Operating from two depots —Bristol and Devizes—WTTL runs a fleet of six articulated vehicles and employs a team of 13 fulltime trainers, to deliver a full range of vehicle, classroom and MHE courses for commercial drivers, transport managers, and fleet owners. “This new delivery marks the continuation of our ongoing fleet expansion,” says Jordan Rees, Operations Manager at WTTL. “We need high-specification trailers that showcase exactly what professionals can expect to be working with in a typical transport operation and in this regard, the trailers tick all the boxes. Plus, the attention to detail and quality finish is truly exceptional.” The new tandem axle Urban Box trailers have an overall length of approx. 11000 mm and an internal height of 2715 mm. A pullout rear ladder is fitted to enable easy and safe access. For operational safety and proactive maintenance, the trailers are fitted with KRONE Smart Tyre Monitoring, fully compliant with ECE R141, providing real-time tyre pressure and temperature data. The trailer flooring is constructed from 30 mm, phenolic-coated plywood, designed to handle forklift axle loads up to 7,000 kg, in accordance with EN 283 standards. The floor includes premium sealing, with waterproofed and sectionalised areas for improved resilience and durability. In keeping with WTTL’s distinctive vehicle livery, the trailers’ sides are hand-painted in Honda metallic blue, while for ensured longevity the chassis are powder-coated in ultramarine blue. Krone’s 10-year anti-rust warranty further underscores the build quality. At the rear, the trailers are fitted with container-style steel doors with replaceable door seals. These include integrated flushmounted locks with one-hand operation, for enhanced security and ease of use. All six trailers are fitted with KRONE Smart Collect Telematics a smart system offering real-time location tracking, error messages for the braking system, operating data analytics, door control, coupling status updates, and WLAN connectivity. “The decision to partner with Krone was straightforward,” adds Jordan Rees. “Their commitment to quality aligns perfectly with our own values, and these trailers help us deliver the highest possible training standards. With this latest delivery, WTTL continues to prioritise quality, innovation, and customerfocused service within its training and transport operations.” WTTL course qualifications include driver CPC, ADR and transport manager CPC, plus RTITB and WTTL accreditations for all types of lifting equipment. Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 10 BUSINESS NEWS The road transport industry in Scotland has announced its third biennial Scottish Transaid Dinner, which will take place at the Macdonald Inchyra Hotel & Spa near Grangemouth on Thursday 4 June 2026. Two previous dinners have each raised more than £100,000 through ticket sales, sponsorship and a generous charity auction for international development organisation Transaid. Funds from the events in 2022 and 2024 have supported Transaid’s life-saving access to healthcare and road safety initiatives across sub-Saharan Africa, including the development of new pilot projects. Joan Aitken, chair of Transaid and former Scottish Traffic Commissioner, says: “It has been incredible to see the transport industry come together for this event on both previous occasions in 2022 and 2024. The bar has been set incredibly high, with more than 300 colleagues attending last year’s event, drawn from across Scotland’s road transport industry. “Corporate support has also grown, with truck dealers, manufacturers, transport operators, industry suppliers and trade associations moving promptly to secure tables. We’re returning to the same fantastic venue next year, and we look forward to seeing this event continue to expand.” McGill’s Bus Group and The Malcolm Group have been quick to come on board as early sponsors, with additional opportunities available to suit all budgets. A headline entertainment act is due to be announced in the coming months, building on the success of Scottish comedian Ray Bradshaw’s appearance last year, following his highly successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe. Tables of 10 at the event are priced at £1,000, or there’s the option to purchase individual tickets at £100 per person. For all ticket sales and sponsorship enquiries, please contact Lynsey Craik at ScottishTransaidDinner@hotmail.com. www.truckandtrack.com Autumn 2025 Truck and Track 11 BUSINESS NEWS Descartes Systems Group, the global leader in uniting logisticsintensive businesses in commerce, released its August Global Shipping Report for logistics and supply chain professionals. In July 2025, U.S. container import volumes surged to 2,621,910 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), up 18.2% over June. Imports from China climbed to 923,075 TEUs in July—a 44.4% month-over-month increase and the highest level in 2025 since January. For a second consecutive month, the top West Coast ports maintained the lead in market share over East and Gulf Coast ports. Overall, port transit time delays increased only modestly at top U.S. ports in July, indicating that infrastructure performed well despite elevated volumes. The August update of the logistics metrics monitored by Descartes suggests that, while global supply chains continue to grapple with ongoing geopolitical disruptions, trade policy developments are also creating sustained trade uncertainty. U.S. container imports surge in July, hitting secondhighest level on record Reversing slower activity in May and June, July volumes surged to 2,621,910 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), up 18.2% from June and 2.6% higher than July 2024 (see Figure 1). July volumes were just 555 TEUs shy of the all-time record set in May 2022. While consistent with the month-over-month peak season rise in ocean shipping that has occurred over the last nine years, July 2025 volumes also reflect suspected tariffdriven frontloading by U.S. importers ahead of impending trade policy shifts. Compared to pre-pandemic July 2019, volumes were up 19.3%. Total TEUs through July are up 3.6% compared to the same period in 2024. July U.S. container imports from the top 10 countries of origin (CoO) jumped 25.4% month-over-month, led by significant increases from China and Hong Kong (see Figure 2). After prior months of tariff-driven weakness, China posted an impressive gain of 283,775 TEUs, up 44.4% from June and off the record high of 1,022,913 TEUs set in July 2024 by 9.8%. China’s share of total U.S. imports rose to 35.2%—its highest since early 2025 but still trailing the record 41.5% share seen in February 2022. Hong Kong also posted a notable increase in July, rising 25,185 TEUs (47.8%). The widespread increases suggest a resurgence in Asia-origin shipments among U.S. importers. “Following two months of uneven performance, July’s surge in container imports underscores the impact of U.S. tariff policies, not just seasonal demand cycles, on container volumes,” said Jackson Wood, Director of Industry Strategy at Descartes. “Trade uncertainty remains high, however, as U.S. importers evaluate their supply chains in the face of the August 1 implementation of reciprocal duties on over 60 countries, the August 7 start of India-specific tariffs and the universal copper tariff, and the October 15 expiration of the U.S.–China tariff truce.” August 2025 marks four years of the monthly global shipping report since Descartes began its analysis in August 2021. Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 12 BUSINESS NEWS Alltruck plc, a UK commercial vehicle contract hire specialist, has introduced its first all-electric truck to the leasing sector. Founded in 1990, Alltruck operates depots in Nottingham, Leicester, and Loughborough, supported by a network of Alltruck-approved repair centres throughout the UK. Designed for both short and long-haul logistics, including urban and multi-drop deliveries, the DAF XD Electric has entered service with a long standing Alltruck customer in the London area. The truck is fitted with a GRP box body, roller shutter and tuckaway tail lift, with a gross vehicle weight of approximately 20 tonnes. Its 200-mile range makes it ideally suited for busy work in the capital’s low emission zone (LEZ). Supplied and supported by DAF dealer group, Ford and Slater Leicester, the truck is powered by a PACCAR EX permanent magnet e-motor and equipped with high-capacity, fast-charging lithium-ion batteries. This ensures an extended range on a single charge and reduced downtime between routes. Furthermore, the new DAF XD Electric features cutting-edge fleet management systems, including real-time monitoring of battery health, route optimisation, and predictive maintenance, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The truck body was manufactured and fitted by Alltruck at its Loughborough Bodyshop. “The introduction of this, our first EV truck marks a significant step on our Alltruck Zero journey and a major leap forward in the transition to sustainable transport for our customers,” says Josh Robinson, Managing Director, Alltruck plc.’’ To this end, and in keeping with the UK Government’s 2050 net zero greenhouse emissions target, Alltruck Zero aims not only to achieve sustainability goals but also to offer significant cost savings on fuel and maintenance. “HGVs account for 18% of road transport emissions and 13% of nitrogen oxide levels - big footprint,” says Josh. “But we know the shift to electric isn’t just about doing the right thing for the planet. It’s also about the numbers. With electric trucks, the total cost of ownership picture looks very different – especially when you factor in lower maintenance, reduced energy costs and longterm operational gains. That’s why our new EV truck isn’t just a greener choice; it’s a smarter investment that delivers value over time, despite the challenges of residual value forecasting and higher upfront costs.’’ Alltruck embarked on its Alltruck Zero initiative in 2020 with the introduction of its first zero-emissions vehicle, a Mercedes Benz eSprinter van – also currently operating in the London LEZ. The eSprinter was one of the first to enter a commercial vehicle rental company and the very first to have an auxiliary batterypowered fridge unit. “Our journey to net zero continues at pace,” says Josh. “Launching this new EV truck is a big milestone, but it’s only part of the picture. What makes this transition truly possible is the infrastructure behind the scenes. Our in-house bodyshop gives us the capability to build, adapt and maintain high-quality, future-ready bodies designed specifically for electric vehicles. This combination of cutting-edge trucks and real engineering expertise is helping to create a cleaner, more resilient future for logistics and freight.’’ Either for single vans or an entire fleet of electric trucks, as partners in sustainability, Alltruck offers end-to-end solutions spanning EV availability and range expectations, to charging infrastructure options, maintenance and aftermarket support. Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 18 Wilcomatic – the UK’s authorised distributor of the world’s leading gantry wash systems VEHICLE WASH SYSTEMS

www.truckandtrack.com Autumn 2025 Truck and Track 19 Wilcomatic is pleased to be the authorised distributor of high specification Otto Christ commercial vehicle and car wash systems across Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Already featured at last year’s Commercial Vehicle show at the NEC Birmingham, Otto Christ’s latest gantry wash system, the NOVA, has more advanced features compared to the outgoing Magnum and Taurus ranges and maintains the legendary reliability of the German manufacturer. The NOVA rollover gantry system is a truck wash solution with three brushes available in three product variants, the Stripe, the Blade and the Stripe with LED displays. Dependent on the specification, the machine dimensions range from 4.82m to 5.15m high and 4.6m to 4.88m wide. The passage width (vehicle width) is 3.4m and the wash height is up to 5m. The housing features new panelling with optional integrated LED lighting and illuminated driver command. Speed of operation – the NOVA is the fastest of its kind. Large fleets require fast and effective washing technology. The big challenge is performing a complete wash on the front, side, roof and rear surfaces of the vehicle in order to minimise operating costs within a short wash time. To achieve this, the NOVA can be operated in a semi-stationary operation (2.5-minute wash programme) and/or in the overrun wash operation. The innovative roller concept of the NOVA provides the perfect combination of quality and quantity for vehicle washing and is therefore especially recommended for cleaning in shift operations at transport companies, as a powerful commercial vehicle wash unit, or for larger haulage companies to wash their fleets. Wash brushes supplied as standard are polyethylene brushes which are the tried and tested standard. In addition, users may choose POWERBRUSH + AND SENSOFIL+ which provide low abrasion on the vehicle paint. They are available in a variety of colours from black grey to flame red and feature increased brush diameter and optimal immersion depth for better wash performance. Oscillating rotor nozzles ensure the dirtiest chassis zones are covered. The nozzles are available in various heights and additional nozzle units, each with three nozzles, can be added in and activated for the middle and upper areas of the vehicle. JETSTREAM is a high-pressure wash option that can be added to the portal frame for vehicles with challenging geometries VEHICLE WASH SYSTEMS

Truck and Track Autumn 2025 www.truckandtrack.com 20 such as silo trucks and special vehicles. The JETSTREAM high pressure device is also designed to pre-clean very heavily soiled vehicles such as tipper trucks. Four electro-mechanically oscillating high pressure nozzle units per wash system side, equipped with contra rotating high pressure blast nozzles, spray the vehicle powerfully whilst the wash portal moves. The front and rear wash is performed by the integrated swivel device for the high-pressure nozzle units. The manual pre-cleaning effort required by the pre-wash staff is significantly reduced with the JETSTREAM. The UNDERBODY WASH SYSTEM features a stationary nozzle cane (under floor) to clean the vehicle’s undersides while the vehicle is entering the wash hall without losing time. We offer two variants that can be combined with corresponding rotary pumps. The DISCONTINUOUS LATERAL BRUSH ensures the best wash result without leaving wash shadows. It enables continuous and more effective cleaning under the mirrors, and is available in different wash heights and can therefore be individually adapted to any fleet as required. The additional pair of lateral brushes ensures optimum cleaning without losing flexibility. An ACTIVE FOAM DEVICE ensures comprehensive application of the wash chemicals via active foam nozzles. The chemicals achieve longer adhesion for effective dirt removal. An optional polishing application is also available with separate dosing equipment. AEROPRO HIGH PERFORMANCE DRYER: The outstanding feature of the AEROPRO dryer is that the airflow starts being directed towards the front of the vehicle slanted from above. By pivoting the blower units or air outlets, the air current can be directed towards lateral vehicle sections or roof and rear sections. WATER RECYCLING: Water is precious. That makes it even more important to budget it with extra care. Pure drinking water is often too precious for washing vehicles, which is why it makes sense to use a circulation system to recycle the washing water used. In addition to ecological aspects, legal regulations and economic factors, such as the cost for drinking water and sewage, also play a part in this decision. FONTIS water preparation units have been developed especially for use with vehicle washing plants. In their compact form, they combine all the technology including the washing water storage tank, a quartz-gravel filter and a booster pump. The FONTIS can be equipped with an optional chemical pre-treatment stage (flocculation).
